Extends Operating Hours
Extends Operating Hours
The Prince William County Public Schools Office of Special Education Parent Resource Center has recently extended its operating hours. The Center will now be open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Evening and summer visits to the Center are by appointment only. The Center is located on the first floor of the Kelly Leadership Center, 14715 Bristow Road in Manassas.
The Center works with parents of students with disabilities by addressing parent concerns, providing information and referral to community resources, assisting with problem-solving strategies, maintaining a free lending library, offering workshops and classes, and publishing the “Special Focus” parent newsletter.

Especial Extiende Sus Horas de Servicio
El Centro de Recursos para Padres de Educación Especial recientemente ha extendido sus horas de servicio. Ahora está abierto de lunes a viernes, desde las 8:00 de la mañana hasta las 4:30 de la tarde. Después de estas horas o durante el verano, se puede visitar el Centro sólo con cita. El Centro está ubicado en el primer piso del Kelly Leadership Center, 14715 Bristow Road, en Manassas.
El Centro ayuda a los padres de alumnos con discapacidades prestando atención a sus preocupaciones, proporcionando información y sugiriendo recursos comunitarios, enseñando estrategias para resolver problemas, manteniendo disponible una biblioteca, ofreciendo talleres y clases, y publicando el boletín “Enfoque Especial” para padres de familia.
